To enter, as usual, leave a comment below before midnight US central time February 6th and I will draw 2 winners! Today I’d like to know what your definition of success is as a blogger. When do you consider your site a success? If you don’t have a blog, how about just life in general?
*keep in mind that shipping outside of the US or Canada may require that you pay some shipping costs.
(Be sure and check back tomorrow! I have some great books to give away on Day 6 & 7!)

As a contributor to a hyperlocal blog, I consider my blogging to be successful when I inform others of an issue, contribute meaningfully to the discussion, AND let people know how they can get involved.
Since I don’t have a business blog, but only a personal blog for my friends and family, I have to say that my definition of success is the fact that my friends feel connected to me and know what’s going on in my life, even if I am thousands of miles away from them (most of them are in Europe).
Hmm … I’m not sure how I would define success for my blog. When I reach one goal I change the goals.
Personally, success is realizing that I no longer care what other people think about me.
Success for my blog would be knowing that I have helped a small business gain recognition and spread the word about some fabulous handmade products.
Success, its hard to put your finger on isn’t it?
I guess for me knowing that my thoughts and opinions are shared with the world – even if they are not agreed on would be a start, but I think more importantly knowing that my interests are shared and people benefit from my posts and that I reach a substantial amount of people would be a success
I love the free giveaways. I checked out Blog Avenue too – pretty cool stuff. Definetly a bookmark!

hm.. i am new to blogging… maybe your comments can help me…
Success as a blogger is having a supportive and proactive readership.
Success…the absence of failure?
Success as a blogger…growing more yourself as you explain (or try to explain) things to others
Success, when I have a gaggle (a herd, pride or whatever a group of bloggers is called) of regular readers who visit and comment.
I love the chocolate T-shirt. And the lavender vanilla candle.
My blog is successful when I get more followers. That means I’m showing or saying something that others want to hear.
I hope to be adding more marketing tips, featuring a guest marketing and promotions expert.
Success to me is being open to and reaching for new goals but also realising that you may have limitations and being at peace with this knowledge.
Truly satisfying success for me is having my inner world (ideas, feelings, visions) lead to positive results in my outer world (improved finances, relationships, health). Most of my life I’ve been more inside than out, so to have them meet in a harmonious way would be magnificent.

success as a non smoker – gaining health
the absence of failure?
My blog, like my art work in general, is a way for me to share and inspire others (hopefully) to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us every day. I get my best feedbback or comments when someone is touched by a painting, it reminding them of an animal that they have loved, or a spiritual connection to something in nature. If I can do that on an even small scale it is worth it..:)
No blog YET.
In my opinion “SUCCESS” is defined by the ability to make advances in all areas of your life. Does not matter if those advances are small or large; to be stagnant is to NOT live. And LIVING LIFE is what it is all about.
