Thanks for the heads-up! I’d heard it was coming, but yours was the first place I saw it announced.

I don’t think I’ll be upgrading just yet, I prefer to wait until my web host integrates it into the control panel… makes everything nice and easy.

Thanks for letting us know, I’m about to start a new blog and thought of using wordpress. Now I guess I’ll just begin with the new program. :) woo hoo

I don’t dare to install it because I have so many plugins! Last time I upgraded a few of them didn’t work. I think I’ll upgrade one of my smaller blogs first!

Last time I upgraded didn’t work fine, so I’ll wait some time.

I used to loathe upgrading WordPress. Now, it’s a 10-minute process and I have it down to a science. I think it’s important to stay up to date on the latest version.

I do agree with Court, however–I haven’t been able to get My Link Order to work since 2.1 was released. That’s a feature I wish were integrated into WP itself.

@Rick - yeah, I like to stay up to date, but I dread the upgrade thing every time! I need to do it more regularly, and then I wouldn’t dread it, like you said.

Already there! I upgraded over the Memorial Day weekend without a hitch - so far. I use quite a few plugins on my site and they all appear to work just fine. BTW - did you read that its now considered a must security upgrade by Mark Jaquith who is one of the Wordpress developers?
