Home again

Oct 19

After a long day of traveling yesterday we made it home, and are glad to be back to the cooler weather. We had a good time, but it’s always nice to be home again. Jack did well on the trip home for the most part. We ended up being delayed in Memphis for an extra hour and a half, so he thoroughly explored the area we were in, and made lots of important public service announcements to anyone who would listen, and tried to kiss a little girl about his age who was also wandering around killing time.

While we were there, we took a trip over to Fredricksburg, TX and spent the day walking around and shopping. I got some nifty Lionel train signs for Jack’s room when he gets bigger.

Jack has been facinated with the Pat the Bunny book lately, so when I saw the stuffed Pat the Bunny in the toy store I just had to buy it.

We got to spend lots of quality time with Memommy, who is almost 90 years old and dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease. Aunt Neva is very patient and loving with her and is working hard to give her a good quality of life in her last years. We didn’t do much of interest other than the Fredricksburg trip. Mom and Aunts Clara and Neva spent much of their time poring over Sudoku puzzles.
