I’ve just discovered a new source for free stock photography and vector images. I’ve been a regular visitor to iStockPhoto for their weekly free image for a while, but Crestock offers a daily free image! You can subscribe to the free image feed as well, which is helpful. They have an upcoming contest which I’ve been asked to judge, that has some great prizes! I’ll give you more details when I have them.

Good tip Randa. I bought some images from iStock, but I never made it a habit to visit them every week to get a free image…
BTW, if anyone is interested in free images – I found this through DIGG about a month ago – 100 (Legal) Sources for Free Stock Images (I’m not affiliated with the site and haven’t personally looked at each source they mentioned).
The free daily image is a nice little gimmick they have going on. I hadn’t heard of them either until I read this blog post

That site looks like its got some really professional stock photos, I’ll have to check it out. Some of the free ones I’ve visited have been pretty bad. So far Dreamstime.com is a good deal at $1-2 per photo. I’ll have to check out that link Max provided. Cheers, Ryan
