Jack @ 4 Years, 11 Months

Almost 5! 5 years old seems like such a milestone- like he’s entering a new part of childhood somehow. People talk about time going so quickly with kids, but to me it seems FOREVER since Jack was born way up in Chicagoland.

Jack is enjoying being big enough to give piggyback rides to David. They go all over the house like this, to different piggyback “stations”.

We are doing schoolwork most days now, and have added math and phonics, and have begun reading through The Story of the World books. He enjoys everything and only complains when he has to write. Fine motor skills are not his forte, and he really had to work at the writing. We’re using Handwriting Without Tears which has been excellent.
