Jack @ 18 Months

Already 18 months old… time seems to drag so slowly sometimes, but it still doesn’t seem possible that it’s been a year and half since he was born. The difficulties of the past couple of months have, for the most part, subsided. We don’t see nearly as many “floppy fits” as we had been, and the whining, while still an every day occurrence is at least no longer a constant drone. {big sigh of relief} Jack has more words to express himself these days. He doesn’t have to scrunch up his face and flail from side to side anymore when I offer him something he doesn’t want- he can just say “no”. He can ask for “ray-ros” (Cherrios) and to go “dah-shesh” (downstairs) and can let us know when he wants to see a “boobie” (movie). We try to avoid him asking for that in public, of course, to keep people from wondering if maybe I’ve been nursing him just a little too long.
