Business cards are great promotional piece. There are some very creative designs out there. The rule of thumb is that it takes person seeing your logo or business name 7 times to register it into longterm memory. So basically any professional way that you can name out in front of your audience the better off you will be.

I think it really depends on what your blog is about. But i also think that online promotion is much more important than offline. but hey, thats just my opinion.

PS. i really like you’re comment editing style (post comment editing). Haven’t seen it anywhere else!

I think business cards are great if you do a lot of networking outside of the internet. My only problem is I never carry them on me because I like to keep a thin wallet due to back problems from sitting on a wallet full of cards and stuff.

If you travel around a lot, the best thing to carry and give out is a business card. It reflects who you are and gives people an idea of what you’re capable of doing in the event that your service (or content/instruction) is needed in the future. People see a lot of business cards though, so you’ll want to make sure your card is catchy and imaginative in order to help yours stand out from all the rest.
